Team’s Profile

The WAND team is drawn from a rich variety of backgrounds and experiences in the corporate and education spheres. Our passion for life drew us together and creates a supportive environment of love and growth.

Led by Wendy who was a school psychologist and has a background in Educational Psychology, our team of facilitators collectively has vast experience in training, coaching, counselling, adventure learning and kinesthetic body works.

We believe that our commitment and authenticity will be the key to establishing rapport and trust, and to having our clients take responsible actions to improve themselves and the community.


With an Executive Masters in Consulting and Coaching for Change from INSEAD (2015) and a First-Class Honours in Psychology from Simon Fraser University (1992), Wendy has over 20 years of experience applying her knowledge of psychology to education, leadership development and personal transformation, inspiring people to thrive through challenges.

Her former roles include being the in-house psychologist and coach at Raffles Institution and McKinsey & Co. She was also appointed as Board Member to the National Library Board.

Wendy’s work in raising emotional and team resilience has reached Canada, USA, Singapore, Indonesia, India, Malaysia, China and Taiwan. Furthermore, her expert views have been shared via her column “Life Lessons” in the Straits Times’ MIND YOUR BODY supplement, as well as the radio show “Aunt Agony in the Living Room” on 938LIVE.

Using her deep understanding of psychodynamics and organizational systems, Wendy serves as consultant and coach to several organizations including GIC, Allied World, SingHealth, Google, the US Embassy, the Ministry of Defence and the Ministry of Education.

She has presented her coaching approach and results at the 7th International Conference on Thinking (1997) and the International Congress of Applied Psychology (2002). She wrote 23 books on multiple intelligences and resilience. She is married, with four children.

Her personal recreation includes dancing, staying in treehouses and drinking coffee with friends.

With over 30 years of finance and business experience and having lived and worked in South East Asia, New Zealand, Australia and United Kingdom, Albert has delivered over 1,000 programs in Singapore, Malaysia, Indonesia, Thailand, Taiwan, China, India, Australia, New Zealand, Turkey, Poland and Nepal. Some of his clients are the Ministry of Defence, Apple Computers, Google, the US Embassy and Singapore Sports Council.

Albert believes in the boundless possibilities of every situation which can unleash the potential in every individual. He aims to facilitate that process in every program he co-creates with his clients, with great enthusiasm and clarity.

Albert is the creator of RAISE the Bar: Global Leadership Tool Box, used for creating extraordinary results by ordinary people wanting more from life by being the best they can be. He was also the co-founder of MAD Learning Singapore.

Albert’s milestones include establishment of the Lions Club of Singapore CyberCare. He spearheaded the CyberCare Leadership Service Learning Expedition sponsoring under-privileged youth from Singapore, Malaysia and Nepal to trek the foothills of Everest. In April 2009, he also raised funds for Make-A- Wish Foundation Singapore by trekking to Everest Base Camp. His personal recreation includes trekking, traveling and volunteering.

Michelle Ong specializes in delivering high-quality skills development, management and leadership programmes for organizations and has trained professionals from both public and private sectors.

Michelle’s approach to coaching and facilitation stems from the theories, models and practices of accelerated learning techniques with strong accents of experiential learning and application formats. Her style is interactive, participative and integrated in learning approach.

Over the past ten years, Michelle has had the opportunity to impact and empower participants from various industries namely, civil service, healthcare, banking, media, international trade, education etc.

Michelle values opportunities to participate in coaching, training and development programmes focused to support and enhance the learning potential and growth of others. She is committed and passionate about facilitating teams and have individuals grow, develop and succeed. She shares her passion, knowledge and experiences to encourage the journey of learning to be enjoyable and inspiring.

A ICF-Professional Certified Coach, Paul holds a Master of Social Science (Professional Counseling) from the Swinburne University of Technology and has also completed Positive Parenting Program by MSF.

Since 2000, Paul has developed and conducted more than 1,500 hours of life-skill programs for children, youths, families and school staff in more than 60 schools and social services organizations in Singapore.

Paul is certain that parenting is the most important job in the world. This belief and the need to reach out to more parents culminated in Paul publishing his illustrated book, “The Ostrich and the Tiger”, in 2016. He hopes that his book will trigger parents to reflect and improve the way they bring up their children.

While Paul’s forte lies in assisting children and youths, he is just as comfortable with leading adult-learning programs. He has conducted more than 800 hours over 20 runs of Basic Coaching and Facilitation Course for the Singapore Armed Forces.

Paul is also active in community work; a former chairman of CampVision, he has volunteered with HCA Hospice Care for more than 10 years. A sports-loving and active person, Paul believes that sports and fun-filled activities can enhance the learning experience in his programs.

DJ’s credentials as a Career & Life Transitions Coach and Facilitator since 2007 include being certified in NLP, Career Power™, Art of Hosting, Appreciative Inquiry and Results Coaching Systems. She is also a Coach for The Mind Gym for whom she has delivered management workshops for MNCs in 9 Asian countries including Japan. She has worked with clients from financial services, manufacturing, media, advertising, healthcare, technology and education, on Leadership Development, Career Engagement, Personal & Team Effectiveness and Change Management. Clients include UBS, Barclays, Unilever, Bloomberg, Shell, Singapore Armed Forces and A&E Network.

DJ has run career planning workshops for thousands of tertiary students in Singapore and is a Pioneer Certified Facilitators for The Student Leadership Challenge. She has traveled as far as Kenya, Romania and Peru to explore how indigenous and local communities work with nature.

She has an MBA from University of Hawaii and Japan-America Institute of Management Science (with High Distinction) and a Bachelor of Science in Business Economics from University of the Philippines (Magna Cum Laude). She started her career in corporate finance and human resource development in 1996.

She loves traveling, drumming, art and writing. Her most recent adventure was completing the 800-kilometer Camino de Santiago Pilgrimage in 33 days.

Jones joined Wand Inspiration Network as a facilitator and coach in 2014. Prior, he has spent 16 years working in industries like hospitality, MICE, financial services and staff development.

In his facilitation and coaching career, Jones has served a wide range of corporate audiences and government bodies such as Unilever, OCBC, Carl Zeiss, SingTel, SingHealth, Singapore Armed Forces, Ministry of Home Affairs, Health Science Authority.

His personalized, energetic and engaging style of working has also earned him personal recognition, such as being the youngest workshop speaker for Ministry of Education‘s Outdoor Education Conference.

Besides being an ICF-Professional Certified Coach, Jones has a Bachelors in Business Management (HRM) from RMIT University and a Diploma in Hospitality Management from Temasek Polytechnic. He is also certified in NLP, ACTA, Points of You Coaching, Coaching with Enneagram in Business and a Certified Competent Trainer by Singapore Institute of Management.

In 2017, Jones has also developed and launched a card game called “Emotions Run Wild” that focuses on building emotion quotient, emotion management and mastery.

Jones’ mantra: “We only live once, so let’s live with passion, make dreams happen and keep smiling.”

Ryan’s career centered around the real estate industry for 17 years. Besides obtaining 55 top sales awards, he also served as Associate Director and motivational speaker for his fellow industry players, resulting in many becoming top performers subsequently.

Realizing fulfilment from making a difference in people’s lives, Ryan joined Wand Inspiration Network as coach and facilitator in 2014. He is a Certified Facilitator in MBTI Step I and Step II, Enneagram Subtypes & Relationships, Enneagram EPTP Intensive Course, Enneagram Typing Process, Practitioner of Master Neuro-Linguistic Programming, graduated from The Art of Masterful Facilitation and an ICF-Professional Certified Coach.

Till date, he has facilitated for Central Provident Fund Board and serves as a coach and facilitator in Singapore Armed Forces to create breakthroughs and unleash participants’ potentials to be inspiring leaders.

Ryan enjoys playing guitar, traveling around the world, volunteering contributions to under-privileged locally and overseas, videography and playing tennis. Ryan believes in embarking on roads less travelled; embracing changes and uncertainties with spirit of adventure and enthusiasm for life. He walks his talk by his motto, ‘hard work beats talent’.

With a Bachelors in Business Studies and a Post-Graduate Diploma in Organizational Development and Change, Rachel spent 12 years in various corporate HR roles covering the full Talent Management cycle and shared services operations. She worked closely with CEOs and Head of Departments in formulating their human capital strategies, and develop competency and leadership development plans to stretch and maximize the full potential of each and every employee in order to deliver excellent business results.

In the area of learning and development, she has been involved in strategizing and conceptualizing the design and development of training and other employee learning programs for areas like leadership and management, performance management and change management.

Both a strategic and tactical player, Rachel is willing to roll up her sleeves and be directly involved with the design and implementation of HR projects and introduce new initiatives to drive results. Managing company through change is also a major strength that Rachel brings to the table. Having gone through 3 M&A transitions both as a buyer and a seller, she learnt how to bring a company through transitions without losing talents excessively, and help people navigate through change.

With these practical and hands-on experience, Rachel hopes to partner with businesses who are looking to increase the value of their HR department, and tying them closely to their business operations and results.
